I always have a quitting conversation with all who smokes and always ask how someone quit if they have as it interests me or maybe in the hope my dad would quit smoking if I found a useful way ! And thankfully he has after a health scare!! An important information I have sifted out over the year of talking to patients, who have quit - HAVE ALL QUIT IN A DAY . Not reducing the amount of cigarette/ moving to vape or any of that works - One day decide and quit. I have not smoked so I do not know , but I do think that is the only real way to quit .

AND BY THE WAY CIGARETTES AND VAPE CAUSE THE SAME DAMAGE ON TEETH AND GUMS , AND MOST DENTURE WEARERS ARE SMOKERS / EX-SMOKERS. THERE IS NOTHING ELSE ,EVEN DECAY FROM SUGAR USUALLY SPARES THE FRONT TEETH ,BUT SMOKING CAUSES A MASSACRE IN THE MOUTH AND AFFECTS MOST TEETH ESPECIALLY THE FRONT TEETH!!
